This is a pre-recorded video of me teaching my Friday class students how to draw/paint from a reference photo which is of my own Bird of Paradise plant growing in my backyard.

It is a real-time (unedited) peek into how I demo and explain my process on composition, layering, and blending with colored pencil on Pastelmat.
