Original Deer in colored pencil drawing giclee print
Original Deer in colored pencil drawing giclee print
This is my own illustration of a Deer with Fresia flowers growing atop the antlers. The Deer is one of a series of 4 "Botanimals" I drew for a recent art installation. For the original art piece, I used Prismacolor artist grade colored pencils and graphite for the initial sketch. The Deer took approximately one week to render as I use lots of layering and scrutinizing to make each of my "paintings" come alive.
The print itself measures 8x10" and is protected in a plastic sheet and attached to a white mat board.
The image is printed on high-quality, archival, Canson paper using the giclee technique. The original drawing/painting was scanned at 600 dpi.
Each print is individually signed by the artist (me)! The prints can be ordered in different sizes, too but currently I only have the 8x10 size in stock.
I hope you will collect all four of my "Botanimals" as they look even better all together!
